Riddles

Every now and then I’ll post riddles if you think you have and answer leave it as a comment. 2 or 3 days later i’ll post the answers to the riddles.`
1) A cleaner was cleaning a dirty window on the 30th floor of a building. while cleaning he accidently slid open the window and fell out ! There was nothing soft in between him and the ground however the cleaner remained without a scratch. How was this possible ?
2) For some I run fast,for other I go too slow. relying on me is a well practised lesson. What am I ?
3)what gets whiter the dirtier it gets ?
