If this works the way it should, new posts should appear in this list.  Keep an eye on what our community is writing about. Read other people’s posts, and leave them a comment!

I really like Wordpress (which is what powers our blogs here on Ludus).  It’s a wonderful environment in which to write, share, think.  A place to jot down quick ideas, or to expand upon bigger ones. My wordpress blog is a place to just call “my place”.

Of course, this is not the only place I’ve ever blogged…  I have been keeping another Wordpress blog over on Edublogs for nearly three years now.  And before that, I used Blogger to document my year living in Canada.  It’s funny how people all originally poo-pooed the idea of blogging for that year, but in hindsight many were very glad that I did.  My own kids thought I was crazy for doing it, but they like the fact that their year was caotured. (I wish they’d blogged too!  I would love to read back through THEIR thoughts about that year.

That’s one of the interesting things about blogging…  to be able to look back at stuff you were thinking and witing about years later.  Things you’d almost forgotten about, and insights you had that you didn’t fully appreciate at the time.  Thanks to my blogs, I’ve managed to gather a permanent record of my thoughts and ideas over the last few years, captured for posterity.

So enjoy writing in your blog.  Not only will it improve your ability to write and communicate, but I’m certain that you really will enjoy the process.  Beyond that however, the cumulative effect of looking back over time to see where you’ve come from is quite a wonderful thing.
